T-Rex II: Terror Wilds That Convert Three Named Species

The conversion in this Jurassic sequel is specific about its targets. When T-Rex lands on reel one, the Terror Wilds feature can turn any Triceratops, Suchomimus or Raptor symbols elsewhere on the board into additional Wilds.

Naming three species rather than converting everything means the value of any activation depends on what happened to land. A board carrying several of those three becomes heavily wild; a board populated by other symbols barely changes. The mechanic is powerful but conditional, and the condition is invisible until the moment it fires.

The reel one placement is the other constraint. On a twenty-five payline board reading left to right, reel one is where combinations begin, so a wild there supports every line rather than only those passing through the middle. But it also means the trigger is confined to a single column.

That wild doubles any win it helps form in its own right, so it contributes even when the Terror Wilds do not activate.

The scatter scaling is extreme at the top end. Three or more scattered Eggs award ten, twenty or one hundred free games depending on the count. The step from twenty to a hundred is fivefold and out of all proportion to the step before it, which makes the maximum trigger a different category of event rather than an increment. Most rounds will land at ten or twenty spins.

The Terror Wilds feature remains active throughout the round, and further Eggs can add extra spins.

Two random progressive jackpots, a Major from $1,000 and a Minor from $250, can land at the end of any spin, in the base game or during free games. That last clause matters, since many jackpots are excluded from bonus rounds.
